This is my second Black & Decker quesadilla maker. This is a newer, improved design. Once I overcame my desire to overfill the tortillas I really enjoyed having this appliance. Just a little meat and cheese between 2 tortilla shells for a few minutes, topped with lettuce, sour cream, sliced black olives and drizzled with taco sauce makes a quick meal. Of course, the fun is trying different combinations of meat and cheese and even flavored tortilla shells. Clean up is really simple and it doesn't take up much space in the pantry when stored. I think this is a great product and the price is wonderful.

I read alot of reviews before purchasing and was skeptical. I decided to to give it a try and am glad I did. I have used it 2-3 times so far. I have had absolutely NO issue with cleanup. Yes, you have to be mindful of how much stuff you pack in.. however if the lid does not full close, that is fine. If you hold it in place for about 10 seconds, it will suck down and hold until the quesadilla is done. I love the small cutout at the front with the drip bowl as that aids in easy cleenup. Cooks quick and easy and the lights have been working flawless at this point. If it continues like this I made a great purchase and got for a great price.

I dont know what the person before me is complaining about. This thing is VERY easy to clean & you can put alot in each quesadilla. You have to let the tortilla heat up a bit then push down on the lid just a bit and there you go, a perfect quesadilla. I keep this at work and it gets used every morning (yummmm breakfast quesadilla) & for lunch most days by everyone 6 days a week. Love it. Of course Im the only female at work so I get to clean it. But even after all the guys use it, I have no problem cleaning it, everything just wipes right off.

the machine takes regular sized tortillas, nothing hangs over the edge. it heats up quickly and cleans easily with paper towels. sometimes the green light (ready) doesn't come on after the first quesadilla, and sometimes both the lights stay on. not a big deal, as you can pretty much judge when the food is done. Not even baking for each quesadilla. you can only put a VERY LITTLE filling or you can't close and lock the top down for even cooking. if you put more than a scant amount of filling you have to use quite a bit of pressure with an oven-mitted hand to lock the top on during cooking. all in all, for the low price and ease of use, i would still recommend it.
