Rated 2 out of 5 by Battery and hardware problems The product worked great the first time we used it, sadly, it was to test it a month before we had the baby. Now one parent unit will not stay on for more than a few minutes (keeps 3x beeping after charge) and the other one opens up but will not accept any button presses. We followed the instructions for the first time charge but I can't believe one month of down time completely destroyed the batteries...and of course, they aren't simple AAAs you can buy anywhere! Stay away from this one. It was a gift to us and it was not possible to get any help in time (what good is a monitor if you have to send it for 8 weeks when you need it!!!). 12/18/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a fan of this newer version I bought this monitor to replace the older version from 6 years ago. I'm not a fan of the changes. 1) Now you have to hold the power button down for several seconds for it to turn off. This is very frustrating when you want to immediately get to the screaming baby. 2) There used to be a base for each parent unit to sit in, they did away with that so now they wobble and topple over all the time. What a (bad) surprise in middle of night! 3) There is a green light on side of parent unit that flashes when it's charging. Mine seems to flash all the time even though I never use it on battery power. Again, what a pain in middle of night to have a flashing strobe light in the dark room! 4) They added a Vibrate feature, mine has never worked even after pushing the button repeatedly. Only reason I am keeping this monitor is there aren't many without DECT ( which I DON'T want due to even higher levels of radiation) and the fact the sound is OK on this monitor. But boy, what an annoying set this is! 10/24/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by What can I say.... AWESOME! I bought this model when I had my first in Feb. of 2011. I am now expecting baby #2 any day now and it is still going strong :) I haven't had to replace the batteries in it as of yet and it has received daily usage. The range on this monitor is AMAZING. I can go outside while baby is napping and hang up some clothes on the line and be able to hear her crystal clear. My husband and I couldn't be happier with this monitor. I have had to re-pair the parent units to the nursery units a couple times, but that's really the only issue I have had with them. Hope this helps! 08/18/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Battery life is terrible We've used this monitor for a year now. The low battery signal starts to go off after about 4 hours of use. This means that you are woken up by it if you try to use the monitor overnight. The only solution to the issue is to keep the "overnight" monitor charging while you sleep. I tried to just let the monitor completely die and after a few hours of beeping I gave up and just charged the stupid thing. It will also beep if it looses the signal. Which is good but I don't know how not to make this happen. Will buy a new monitor for our next child. 08/15/2013
