My husband and I were looking for a cheap alternative to a wedding ring we were hoping would last at least a year or two until we were ready to really invest in a wedding set.
When the ring came, I was excited, but after literally two weeks the metal had darkened, not just on the band, but around the diamonds as well. I only wore it during the day and always took it off whenever I put my hands in water. It didn't make a difference. I had to take the thing off within two weeks because it looked so bad I didn't want to be embarrassed at the risk of being asked questions.
Do NOT buy this ring or any other ring that is sterling silver if you're hoping it to look classy.

That ALL silver will tarnish! With regular cleaning (wrapped in foil and placed in a Hot, Hot water and Baking Soda mix) it will stay shiny! Also, be mindful... It isn't life proof. Take it off when cleaning, swimming, ect. That will help lesson the tarnish.
You get what you pay for, so if you don't want to clean it, opt for gold, but mind you, just like everything in life, it will still require cleaning just not as often.
I've had the ring for 5 years as of May 24th, 2015. As an anniversary gift, I'm buying the set again to have a second matching band! I love it! I get so many complements on it! FYI: this ring was bought as a place holder til we could afford a better quality.... Well, I've changed my mind and love this one. Maybe in the future, we will replace the big gem with a real diamond, but for now, I'm still a happy bride!

We opted for this ring as I didn't want to invest in Diamonds until our kitchen is done being remodeled. This ring is absolutely beautiful. I get many compliments on it. I have not had issues with tarnish either :)

This ring is beautiful for two weeks, it then turns dull and scratched. I bought this for my fiance and after the polish wore off it has started to turn her finger green. Not quite "sterling silver." I would not recommend this ring.
