Rated 2 out of 5 by Levis brand not what it used to be. I own two other pairs of this style of jean and love them so it was an easy decision when I found that I needed another pair of jeans. I ordered online and was shocked by what I received...a package that stank of a chemical (petroleum or something similar). I immediately washed the jeans hoping to get rid of the smell, but all it did was reduce it a little. The material these jeans was made out of was a cheap, thin form of denim and not the same Levi's 515 I have purchased in the past. Returned them to Kohl's and am now looking for a new brand of jean to wear. 06/26/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by to much ... spandex...? IDK..? I bought 515's a couple of years ago and they were wonderful. Fit my curves etc. Nice texture, feel etc. I bought these last two pair a few weeks ago, to replenish my blue jean stash. And I don't really like them at all. They're very...stretchy. They do not fit well at all. I'm constantly tugging at the the waste to pull them up. They stretch out with constant movement and...I don't know how to describe it... They're a nuisance. My physique has not changed, but these jeans have. Too much elastic material. I'm SO disappointed! Always loved the 515. Have moved on to the "curvy" collection. 529 I think? Those are nice :-) 12/25/2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by not what I expected I have this style LEVI jean in a lighter color with different embellishments on the pockets that I bought within the last 2 years, so I bought these online in this darker color. My 1st pair are much more comfortable fitting and better quality. This pair has a heavier, rougher feel to the fabric and there was a pretty big, immediately noticable imperfection in the jean material on the front left thigh. I would call the rise a midrise waist, but I would like it to be a little lower rise for my comfort and to stay more on trend. Feels like a little too much fabric in the zipper to crotch area. Not happy with these for the price and for the quality I expect from LEVI's jeans. 04/08/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Weird fit, WAY too stretchy! I've been wearing Levi's for nearly 58 years, and it seems that over the past two decades, the quality has really slipped, and it gets worse every year :-( I always loved Levi's for their sturdy, long-wearing denim ... but now most of their styles (especially this one) feel more like something you'd wear to the gym than actual jeans! The stretch factor is just over the top, and the sizing is bizarre: I normally wear about a 10, but these days even an 8 is baggy in all the wrong places! Maybe I'm just shopping in the wrong places ... guess I'll have to try a genuine western-wear store and see if they carry "real" Levi's jeans. Very sad to see my go-to brand going downhill! 12/17/2014
