The popcorn maker works excellent and is very easy to put together and also easy to clean.
The only problem was with the two tempered glass doors packed together in one cardboard box with an individual envelopes made of narrow bubble wrap in which each door was placed in. On the outside of the cardboard box was a very thin piece of Styrofoam taped to one side of the box. Unfortunately for the popcorn machine I received, the left tempered door was in many pieces.
Within the material/information you receive with your popcorn machine is a piece of paper instructing the purchaser "Not to return to the store" if you have a defective machine or part. I considered this a defect so I emailed customer service and followed up with a call the toll free number that was on this same piece of paper. Initially R...i with Great Northern Popcorn asked me to send some pictures of the good door and the smashed door, which I did. R....i. I thought that R...i implied the door would be now be replaced. You know what they say about assuming, that is what happened. I received an email from R....i, saying I needed to contact Kohl's about the broken glass door. So called R....I letting her know that the information included with the popcorn machine instructed the purchaser/customer not to contact the store but to contact Great American Popcorn. I followed this phone call up with an email to Great American Popcorn copying some VIP's within the Kohl's organization. Imagine within a few hours I got not one but two emails, one from R....I and one from A.., both Great American popcorn employees both saying a replacement door was being shipped. I emailed both CSR's from Great American popcorn thanking them and asking that I only receive one replacement door. I received the door within a few days and am now very happy with this Pasadena Great American Popcorn machine and cart. I just looked and it took 15 emails to get this one broken glass door replaced. A few of the emails were thank you emails to both CSR's R...I, A.., Kohl's VIP's, and oh yea, the CEO of DTX International he parent company of Great Northern Popcorn.
