My fiance bought two pair of these pants and two pair of another Dockers style also with the comfort flex waistband. In one of each style the pocket began ripping away from the waistband after the first wear. Our first sign should have been when he tried them on in another store and it was ripped. It was only one pair and we didn't think much of it. However, after 2 of his pair ripping in the same place we returned them all for a different style without the comfort flex waistband and they seem to be holding up. So overall, he liked everything about the pants except the quality and we ended up returning.

Wash these pants before wearing or altering. They shrunk 1 inch in length after the first washing; washed them again, just in case, and they didn't shrink any more. I knew I would be shortening them so I removed the cuffs to suit my husband. The rise is a little shorter and the leg is narrower than other comfort waist pants, but my husband likes them. The waist seems to be true to size for the 36 and they look very nice on him. The fabric is softer than most simillar pants and the crease stayed in after washing. I took them out of the dryer while still slightly damp and hung them up from cuffs in the laundry room overnight, as I've seen suggested, and they were almost wrinkle free. Will try leaving them in the dryer longer next time to see if they still look as good.

My husband hates every pair of pants he wears. Nothing ever fits right and he refuses to even try a bigger size. I bought him these pants and he is so happy with them. I filled his closet with them and he no longer complains. I do wish they came in black. The fit is perfect. My husband is growing out of his pants, but he's not quite the next size up. These have just enough of a stretch to give when he bends. I highly recommend these pants.

My biggest complaint with Dockers is they now seem to have less material. I have worn Dockers for over 12 years now and used to be able to buy them with no issues. In the past year I have purchased and returned three different pairs from three different stores for I have been unsatisfied with each of them. I have worn a 32 x 34 since high-school and these used to be my favorite work attire. I now have to find a new brand. I am quite disappointed.
