Rated 1 out of 5Â by FreddyF Surprised Columbia brand on low quality belt
This belt fell apart. It looked nice, until the leather broke at the buckle. I only wore it a few times. I see by the other reviews that many others had similar issues. I have owned a number of Columbia brand coats, jackets, pants, and other items, and found them to be of superior quality. This belt doesn't live up to my expectations for this brand..

I've had one of these for several months. It works fine, goes black or brown, and is wide enough to fit my jeans' loops perfectly. I'm buying another one now so I can leave one on my jeans and use the other one when I dress for work.

Both screws holding the buckle to the leather apparently loosened and fell out. Buckle came off belt. Looking for replacement screws, but going to buy another non-Columbia belt for now.

I normally don't leave reviews but I felt compelled to find this belt and review it as low as possible so someone else doesn't make the same mistake.
Within less than 1 month of wearing this belt the tiny screws attaching the buckle to the leather fell out and in turn the buckle came disconnected rendering it useless. I called Columbia and they told me I had to contact RANDA ACCESSORIES who actually makes the belts for them. I contacted them and they required me to send the belt to them (paying my own postage mind you) and then they would send me a new one. I liked the style of the belt so I went ahead and sent it in at my expense and they sent me a new one. Again, after roughly less than 1 month, the belt buckle came apart again, rendering it useless again.
It's obvious Columbia doesn't stand behind their products. They hand you off to a 3rd party who has no obligation to help you.
Unless you want to waste your money or for some reason you're buying a belt for the leather only, I'd highly suggest finding a non-Columbia belt.
