Rated 1 out of 5Â by MrRusted Finish completely rusted in less than 4 months
Had to return this rod for a refund after it completely rusted while in place on my shower after fewer than 4 months use. It was not as if the rod itself was being drenched by the shower spray during every shower either; simply contacted temporarily by small amounts of steam in an otherwise well-ventilated bathroom. Curtain hooks (both plastic and metal were tried) were also Not the root cause of the pronounced rusting. The additional bummer was having to drill mounting holes into my previously unscathed ceramic tiles, only to have to dismount and return this rod after just a few months' use. Now any different brand of rod(s) will most likely require additional, non-matching holes to subsequently be drilled.

This curtain rod looks really nice for the first few month, but after about 5 months it started rusting. I've had it for close to a year and its pretty rusty. I will have to look for a new one. Would not recommend this product.

I went from the standard straight shower curtain rod to the curved and it made an amazing difference. I am a small person but I always felt like my movement was limited because my shower curtain so close to me. My curtain liner is clean and changed frequently but I would still rather not touch it while showering.

My bathroom is separated with the sinks in one part and the toilet and tub in a separate part. This pole curves so far out into the room it was overwelming for a smaller room.
