I'm used to using a water flosser; I just needed a new one. But with this model, although I fill the water chamber, it empties too quickly to finish flossing. To do a thorough job, I'm finding that I have to refill at least three times. I don't know if my unit is defective and sprays too much water too fast, or if this is normal. Either way, it is inconvenient and annoying to have to keep adding water. Also, when the water is too low, the noise this makes is annoyingly loud.

I bought this for my 8 year old daughter who has braces. It works well for what we need it to do. It's nice that is came with an orthodontic attachment. A few features that I wish were different is there is no light that comes on to tell you when it needs charged or is fully charged. I also feel like it should be designed differently because every time you use it or fill it up I'm afraid water is going to get into the port where you charge the battery. The door to the water chamber also comes off really easy.

My spouse really likes this new water pik. She finds it much more powerful than our last model which was more than 10 years old. Taking the back off the water holder requires 2 actions at once which is sometimes problematic. Other than that, she would highly recommend this model.

When it holds the charge it works great but unfortunately the battery only lasts about 1 yr. The price I paid for it, I expected a longer life. Also, you have to be very careful when switching from your upper teeth to bottom and from inside to outside. Although it makes for a good laugh and a great youtube video, it can be kind of clumsy and easily slips out of your hand squirting water everywhere in the room. Not quite as funny the second time, not funny at all the third but learned my lesson. I wish there was an automatic shut off when the button isn't being pushed.
