Rated 4 out of 5 by very heavy material, in a good way be weary if you have a cheap curtain rod, it will not hold these up. the material is very heavy but in a good way. i should have paid more attention to the description. i just wanted some simple green curtains to cover up a closet that had no doors. the black out feature when i held it up to the window it seemed to work fine, which i imagine if you had a work schedule that requires working at night or you are susceptible to migraines than these would have worked great. but that wasn't the main reason why i bought it so i ended up returning. my own fault though, like i said i should have read the description better. 11/26/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does what it's meant to do! These curtains are definitely worth the money. They keep the room dark and the air out. Purchased just a few weeks ago, just in time for the winter winds, we can definitely tell a difference. When I want the sunshine, I just draw them back. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a room darkening curtain along with energy saving bonus. 2 THUMBS UP HERE!! 01/06/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU ORDER! I decided to get these after reading the reviews because the biggest complaint was that they didn't really darken the room. I didn't care about that. I was excited to get these drapes. The color was a little different than pictured but it was still beautiful. The beauty stops there. When I took these out of the package they were so wrinkled it was ridiculous. I put them in the dryer with a damp cloth as specified and that helped very little. I just couldn't get them to hang nicely. I was afraid to iron them because of the backing. I bought rings and that didn't help. Anyway, the only choice is to send them back! What a pain. 11/29/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Thick, good color, bad wrinkles, not blackout It's just as well we didn't need blackout in the living room, as these lovely gold (more of a light tan, which I really like) curtains can't possibly keep the sun from illuminating through them. I *do* feel the insulating property is good. And the faux suede texture is very nice. The wrinkles, however, are a doozy. I tried the directions about putting them in a low dryer with a damp towel - made no difference! (Also have some wine colored Eclipse curtains, same brand but not faux suede, and they'll probably stay wrinkled for eons too.) Not being able to use steam - per the instructions - leaves us stuck for a solution. Ironing them through a towel, without steam (also in the intructions) is pointless, as I've learned with other items that aren't to be steamed. Maybe I'll just get out my hand-held steamer and say "What the heck" and see if I can improve them/not ruin them. 12/17/2014
