It exceeded my expectations! Often things don't perform as well as I had hoped, but I'm very pleased with this. I ran it between 1 to 2 min on about 20sq ft of carpet. I was amazed at how much dirt it picked up in the receptacle thing. Most of it was carpet fibers. This is inexpensive carpet I've been waiting to wear out so I can replace it. But, it looks like its going to take more years than I thought for this to happen. The only complaint I might have is that the handle might be a tiny bit longer. I'm 5' 11", but that's really no problem. I hope after 25 uses I'm still this impressed. Can't believe the few negative reviews; it seems to be a high quality product.

I normally do not write reviews- I am a busy, full time working mom of 3 with a hectic schedule but this sweeper is fantastic! I use it on my wood, tile and low pile area rugs. It is so quiet you can be on the phone and use it and the person on the phone will have no idea you are vacuuming. I leave it plugged in at all times so it is always fully charged and ready to go. I do not have a huge house- roughly 1600 sq feet and i am able to sweep the entire house in roughly 10 minutes and it has never seemed like the battery is about to die. I have recommended this product to all of my friends and family. I wish I had found this sooner!

this is really nice to use when you don't want to pull out the heavy vacuum cleaner. since it cleans the floor and the rugs well, you don't have to change pieces either. plus, it's quiet and doesn't scare the grandkids or the animals. only bad thing is that you have to charge it before you use it each time, if it's a long time between sessions. it loses its charge while just sitting there. according to the directions, you can leave it charged up, but according to the type of battery, you are supposed to let it completely discharge before charging. it depends on which you want to listen to on how easy it is to have ready as needed.
