This was my first venture into getting a cast iron dutch oven and preparing a dish. I like to slow cook meats, stews and beans, especially during the fall and winter months. I figured I would start small so I made beans, and the beans cooked up very well (full boil and tender) so I have no complaints.
I do not slow cook often, so I should have the pot for many years. I plan to purchase a larger pot in the future for bigger meat dishes.
It looks attractive in my kitchen, the size is great (3.5), and cleaning it was easy. I like Food Network's product line, and have many of their items. Overall, the price and value made me a very satisfied customer.

Bought in March of 2014 and used is about once a month on average. The enamel started to crack and has chipped off. This is the second Foornetwork product that I have had and it is a waste of money.

Received this as a christmas present. Inside enamel cracked while sauteing onions for soup after having it for only 6 months. Hand washed the very heavy item each time and cared for it exactly as it says to. Brought it back to Kohl's and they let me exchange it for a new one. 7 months later the new one had the enamel crack on the bottom while making a roux, luckily this time dinner wasnt ruined. I loved the pot for cooking, but I think I will have to give up on the brand and see if they will let me exhange and pay up for the more expensive brand.
