Rated 5 out of 5Â by kconner A tiny bit smaller than online fit chart
I was leery about ordering shoes online, but more leery about trying to shop for them in-stores with a handful of a toddler. I used the kohl's shoe chart thing and got a "9" (my feet are exactly 10 inches). The came just a tiny bit snug to wear with any kind of socks except my very thinnest. Also, there was a kind of rigidity to the ankles that was a little bit uncomfortable right at first, but it softened within about an hour of wear time. When I was looking for boots, I was specifically hoping for a slightly smaller calf opening - "extended calf" is all the rage this year, but it doesn't work for me - this fit that bill perfectly.

Love the style and fit, very comfy too. A little too low on the arch for me, so I added a heel cushion and it's perfect! The material is a little on the thin side -- so it's really more for style, not to beat the cold weather. I got both the black and gray since it's hard for me to find tall boots that are easy to put on and fit my calves. I run and have athletic calves, and it's impossible to find cute & stylish boots that fit comfortably. They are not the best quality made boots so they probably won't last me for a very long time, but worth the price! Have already gotten a lot of compliments, love them!!

I was on the fence, but decided to keep these boots. (probably because I was too lazy to take them back) They are cheaply made, which shows both in appearance and comfort. They also came with a VERY strong chemical smell. I let them sit outside on my deck several times to air out, and they are still strong smelling.

I absolutely love the look of these boots - the soft suede, the dressy buckles, they're very cute and feminine. I'm returning them for three reasons: the bottoms are a little slippery even on my tile floor, so I'm concerned about any ice I'll certainly run into outdoors; the bottom has no arch support; and unless I applied a waterproofing coat I'd be worried about salt and mud stains the first time I wore them out. They may be excellent with an added arch support for anyone who lives where ice and salt aren't concerns. :-)
