Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst Hoover ever The new design for the tank makes it impossible to clean; there are too many plastic "baffles" or pieces all over the place and the dirt just collects in the corners.  After one use the carpet cleaner looks gross.  In addition, it only picks up a fraction of the water that it put out...making the carpet wetter and longer to dry.   Hoover used to make a good product.  I hope they will at least make a tool that can clean the gross mess inside the tank.  when I call for help on this, I was told "if you soak it in soapy water..."  ;yeah, a day later it's just as gross. Oh, and I had to return the first one because it leaked at the first use. 07/14/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tanks Leak Totally bummed out. I have switched back and forth over the years between Bissell and Hoover carpet shampooers. I went back to Hoover and lost that machine in divorce, can't remember the model but it was a workhorse. (3 boys) I replaced it with the FH50220 and used it maybe five times and can't believe the bad engineering on the tank valves on the bottom of the tanks. The seals on both sides failed and the valves are poorly manufactured. Completely unusable, water just streaming out both sides. I have company coming and wanted to clean a rug which is why I have one of these, to use it when I need it, So bummed out. 08/21/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by not impressed Used 1 time and the spin brushes do not work. Was used for normal use. 10/20/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Barely lasted one year. After reading hundreds of reviews, I bought the MaxExtract 60 PressurePro. The water/solution tank leaks - the little black springs on the bottom literally pop out and fly across the floor when the tank is lifted out of the cleaner. They simply will not stay in the tank and the water leaks out and you can't stop it. I'm so disgusted, I'm putting the stupid thing out for the trash - and it's only about a year old. The cleaner weighs a ton, is hard to manipulate and my 15 year old Bissell does a better job. I bought a Hoover WindTunnel Bagged Pet Vacuum a year ago and that's heading for the trash along with it. No more Hoover products for me. 02/13/2014
