While it was a little difficult to go around corners, once I got there, it really performed well. It folds down great to go under tables and chairs. I don't care for the air venting out on the side, everything blows around if I haven't vacuumed in that area. I would prefer it to vent in back and maybe diffused better. And, as a bonus, if you cut the bottom off of the box and fold the top flaps in, the box fits perfectly into a paper lawn bag (flaps at the top) and you don't have to spend [$] for one at the hardware store. Makes yard cleaning easy, just lift the box out when the lawn bag is full and use it again. Recycle, reuse and relax:)
Rated 1 out of 5Â by cas77 horrible product; poor customer service
Cheap plastic poorly functioning vacuum. Hose too short, pops off, vacuum clogs with dirt. Not enough seal to call it hypoallergenic. Height adjustment results in almost no change from bare floors to high pile carpet, so vacuum is useless on my new carpeting. HUGE DESIGN PROBLEM. Hoover customer service said that, although I am physically handicapped, I have to haul this heavy thing to an authorized center (almost an hour away) to see if it can be "repaired" before they can do anything. I tried to tell the agent you can't repair a design flaw, but I was basically told 'too bad; this is how things must be done.'
Rated 1 out of 5Â by A former Hoover owner I bought two - both were poor quality
I bought the Hoover Tempo Widepath based on the great reviews, but it was far from a good experience. The belt broke within two months of purchase. Belts are not covered by the warranty, so I had to buy/replace my own. Hoover will not reimburse me. I bought a second Hoover Tempo Widepath (same model, same retailer), hoping the belt issue was a fluke. The second one had different color/shaped accessories, and the hose was 6 inches shorter than the first vacuum. The hose was so short that I couldn't even connect both ends to use the vacuum! It's going back to the store. Hoover quality isn't what it used to be. I'm moving to another brand.
