Rated 5 out of 5 by Both of my boys LOVE this! I have an almost 4yr old and an almost 9 month old. The youngest recv'd this from Santa for Christmas. He, of course, has no idea how to work it himself. He loves to watch it when his brother activates it, though! My oldest cannot get enough of this toy. If there are only 3 toys in the tub, guarantee this is one of them. We have never had a problem with the mechanics of it, water in the battery compartment (it seals REALLY tightly - which is good since the oldest likes to hold this completely under water) and the motor has lasted through it being activated out of the water multiple times. I would definitely recommend this. I think Santa did well! 03/26/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Bit of a let down I bought this toy for by son's first birthday. I love all my Fisher Price toys and a lot of them are hand me downs that are still going strong. I was really looking foward to my son's reaction in the bath but there was nothing to react to! The water that should spray out (as shown on the box) DRIBBLED through one hole. Thought it may have been the batteries as they were a cheap brand but new. I changed the batteries the next day and same thing- a mere dribble. Didn't keep the receipt as I have never had problems with FP toys before. Great idea for a toy but really disappointing. Wonder if I'm doing something wrong? Sorry Fisher Price, had to be said.... Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed from the start We received this from my Aunt for my daughter for Christmas and thought it would be great since she loves the bath. First use it didn't spray and seemed very wobbly. We had already gotten rid of the box so I came on here because it was supposed to spray and it never did. Once I came to the FP website I became even more discouraged to see that it is supposed to spray and didn't do this right out of the box as well as all the other disappointed reviews. This product is defective and should be removed from their line or it should be reworked that it actually works properly. FP is normally such a great company and we have been very happy with most of our products. 01/06/2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Awful I bought this toy for my 14 month old son for his Easter basket. It does not mimic the picture or description at all. It barely floats in the water, in fact, only the top inch or so is above the water. The spray that comes out of the top is nice, when it works. With fresh batteries, it will occasionaly stop spraying after only a few seconds. Also, it will not hold the ball as indicated on the packaging. In fact, if the ball is put anywhere on the whale, the whale tips over. The only part of this toy that my son was interested in was the ball. I wish I had read these reviews prior to my purchase. I will think twice before purchasing anythng from Fischer Price again. 04/03/2013
