The nightstand is a nice product. The material is durable and the finish is nice. However, when putting together the second nightstand we purchased, the hardware that was sent with the product was inaccurate. There were a bunch of the same pieces and half of the rest were missing. We called the customer service number that was given in the manual for missing parts... (which means this happens alot?) The lady told us we would receive our parts within 2-3 days at the most. We are still waiting on the parts 5 days later. :-/ I'm happy with the product, but it's irritating having a half put-together nightstand still just sitting here!

I bought 2 of these for the bedroom. We assembled the first one in about 30 minutes. Induvidual parts are not marked, but there is a chart in the instruction booklet that shows pictures and their part code. Everything went together very easily, no problem! Most of the parts are made of press board, and on the table top and decorative bottom, the wood coating doesn't go all the way around the exposed edges, but it's not really noticable unless you're looking for it. Overall, the piece looks very nice and seems sturdy for normal everyday use. I would buy them again!
Rated 4 out of 5Â by BuysAtKohls decent nightstand for the price
It looks great in our bedroom, if you don't inspect it too close...the back is a lighter color particle board and there are these little screw covers on the side that make it seem cheap. NOT a concern though, again, if you are not looking at it closely. Everyone who sees them compliments them and they are a great find for this price point in nightstands (which seem to be very expensive at furniture stores!).
Wood is a bit flimsy, but durable enough to stand fine and open/close drawers frequently.
We did find, true to other reviews we read, that it is complicated to put together! But what "assemble yourself" product isn't?!

This seems to be significantly better quality than less expensive furniture. The only caveat is the almost entirely pictorial instructions. There are several opportunities to err during construction with very little guidance as to how avoid mistakes. In particular, make sure to recognize that the cams used for the chest are a different size than those used for the drawers. That wasn't obvious to me because the parts are listed separately for the chest and drawers, and the instructions provide no caution.
