The nightstand is a nice product. The material is durable and the finish is nice. However, when putting together the second nightstand we purchased, the hardware that was sent with the product was inaccurate. There were a bunch of the same pieces and half of the rest were missing. We called the customer service number that was given in the manual for missing parts... (which means this happens alot?) The lady told us we would receive our parts within 2-3 days at the most. We are still waiting on the parts 5 days later. :-/ I'm happy with the product, but it's irritating having a half put-together nightstand still just sitting here!
Rated 4 out of 5Â by BuysAtKohls decent nightstand for the price
It looks great in our bedroom, if you don't inspect it too close...the back is a lighter color particle board and there are these little screw covers on the side that make it seem cheap. NOT a concern though, again, if you are not looking at it closely. Everyone who sees them compliments them and they are a great find for this price point in nightstands (which seem to be very expensive at furniture stores!).
Wood is a bit flimsy, but durable enough to stand fine and open/close drawers frequently.
We did find, true to other reviews we read, that it is complicated to put together! But what "assemble yourself" product isn't?!

I bought 2 of these for the bedroom. We assembled the first one in about 30 minutes. Induvidual parts are not marked, but there is a chart in the instruction booklet that shows pictures and their part code. Everything went together very easily, no problem! Most of the parts are made of press board, and on the table top and decorative bottom, the wood coating doesn't go all the way around the exposed edges, but it's not really noticable unless you're looking for it. Overall, the piece looks very nice and seems sturdy for normal everyday use. I would buy them again!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by nailtechie I like the design
The design allows for use in the computer office as a very small desk for a tight area.
I did cut a hole in the back in the slotted area to put the cords and through for the keyboard. The keyboard is easy to pull out and place in my lap. The top has enough room for the monitor and the mouse pad with the mouse.
For my nightstand it allows me to place all my bedroom electronic clickers in at a handy reach. While still having the top clear for usual nighttime stuff as well as a lamp. I love the design. I do have to say I needed help putting it all together. I highly recommend an electric screw driver. Too many screws for hand tools.
I did need a stronger person to get the drawer screws in as low as possible to have the slides work properly.
