I purchased this steamer in hopes of getting out the door quicker in the morning and not leaving an ironing board out all day - it does take "me" longer to get the wrinkles out of the clothes, but the more I do the faster I get - its all getting use to "ironing" a different way - it works perfectly in my bathroom and is out of the way even tho it hangs all day - I didn't love this product at first, but am hoping I will after more practice - I don't have a problem with the weight - it is a bit awkward getting use to

I purchased the Shark for pressing of curtains, upholstery and large items. The unit itself is too heavy for easy manipulation. The steam flow is okay but it takes longer than expected to smooth out wrinkles. I thought there would be a saving of time with the Shark bit I found it to take as long as ironing. I returned the Shark Press & refresh system. I will use my iron from now on.

This was a last minute purchase right before my daughter's wedding. We needed it to iron our the long (8 foot) satin table runners that were folded into 8" lengths. It took a whle to get used to using it, but it worked great. It wasn't too heavy to use, and the thermal backing that you use to hang on a door worked fantastic fo thes runners. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for one.

We moved and there is no room to set up an ironing board. I saw the Shark and gave it a try. I have it hanging on the back of my closet door. It's so convenient, easy to use. The draw backs; it is big and my hands are small and sometimes drips on the floor, that is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star. I'm only a beginner, I'm hoping with experience I'll get better using it.
