I have purchased Mohawk area rugs in the past, and been thrilled with them. I am still using the ones I bought several years ago, which is why I felt confident ordering another rug from the same manufacturer from the Kohls website, even though the reviews were mixed. How bad could it be?
Bed enough that I returned it. The quality is terrible. It seems to be all thin plastic strips, pulled through wide holes about an inch apart on a plastic mat. Not a rug at all, really. I can't imagine a use for this type of rug anywhere, inside or out.

I am a loyal Kohl's customer but this purchase was extremely disappointing. When I selected it on the website- the photo showed a soft gray color. (I do see that the photo has been updated since then to a more correct color.) A soft gray was exactly what I needed for the room we were updating, so I was excited to find this at Kohl's. But after paying shipping and receiving it, it was nothing like shown. The rug was basically black with some shimmery strands of dark gray-- did not work for our room at all. We had to take it back.

I'm typically pleased with the products I purchase from Kohl's, but this rug was a big exception. It is very poor quality. The amount of shag is not full at all and it is not comfortable to lay on. You actually physically see strips of thicker vs. thinner lines of where the shag is bound together. And the worse part about this rug is the color. I laid the rug out and standing on one side of the rug it looked gold, standing on the other side of the rug it looked a deep chocolate brown. I'm definitely taking this one back!

This rug is ridiculously bad. First, when we unrolled the rug it had large stains on it. Not sure what that was about. The fibers were thin, slimy, and VERY sparse. I dug my hand down to the base of the carpet and could see the padding very clearly. The black padding contrasted sharply with the white fibers. I was actually offended that they could charge over $100 for a rug that looks like some kind of children's art project. Such a mess.
