Rated 4 out of 5 by good design but fair quality it is a good educational toy and my 3 year old can do it with the enclosed pattern sheet and my 7 years old use to design her own picture. there are two things we are a litter regret: 1 the pattern sheet is not enough as 3 year can finish all of them in a day. I will they can enclose more sheet. actually if the company y can provide some printable on the website and always update it, it will be make this toy as a super value one. 2. the quality of the wood is not good as the board we recieved isa slight curved I'm not sure if it made with cheap wood or kohls send us one that was wetted and dried one. 08/05/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Idea I have been very pleased with the line of Melissa & Doug products at Kohls. I was a little disappointed with the size of the pattern blocks- too small for young hands. I have been a elementary teacher for years, and use pattern blocks regularly in my classroom. The ones offered in this set are much smaller than the ones that are used in schools, and young children would have a difficult time manipulating them. I love the idea of the set being magnetic! 12/10/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Product I bought this for my grandaughter. The quality is excellent. It comes with patterns/pictures that fit inside the frame of the magnetic board so you can place the pieces on top of to trace the pattern (which is great for a four year old). You can also make your own patterns/pictures (which is great for an older child). There are small pieces so follow the age recommendations. I would definitely recommend this product. 01/08/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Grows with the child! I bought this for my 2 year old daughter to use as a mom-daughter activity. We did the pictures together and then i put it away so she wouldn't lose the pieces. Sometime between the age of 2 and 4 she started playing with it by herself. Even as an adult i enjoyed playing with it, so it was a fun together activity. Great for demonstrating patterning, shapes, art designs. 09/06/2010
