Rated 5 out of 5 by Good for teaching I am working with 2 yr olds. They love these letters. I love when they pick a letter, identify it and start playing with the letter, making letters walk and talk. They also come in 4 colors, so colors can also be reinforced. As my 2 yr old's say ... Yaaayyy! 07/25/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by More vowels, please! I love to leave messages on the fridge for my granddaughter even though she cannot read yet. She scrambles the letters to leave a message for me, sometimes by color or shape. I am often gone when she arrives to stay with her grandfather, so I would like to leave more involved messages; like lists of animals or silly sentences or poems. However, I need more vowels! I already have 2 sets of letters, upper & lower case, with 4 of each vowel. Upside down Vs make passable As and the number zero makes an O, but she recognizes these as incorrect. I mix the 2 cases as needed, so a set of mixed vowels would be so helpful! I know, of course, that then I would want more consonants - but you already have those sets. 04/27/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great letters. Very durable These letters are great. We are only using the upper case set of letters right now to try to get my daughter to learn her alphabet, but she loves playing with these on the fridge. We starting using these during a period where she was putting things in her mouth. I was a little worried with them being wood how they would weather being chewed, but they stood up surprisingly well. They are easy to attach for small hands, and I love using these to teach her letters instead of all the "talking toys" out there, and there are no batteries to replace! 06/10/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by educational Every child should have 2 sets of these. My 15 month old grandchild already know the alphabet. You can use these in so many ways. On the frig, or put them in a bowl and have them pick out the letters. Just making letters part of daily life helps them learn, they aren't even being taught a formal lesson. You should also buy 2 sets, so when the child is in school, you can use them to practice spelling words. Children are able to feel the shape of th letter in their hands which helps learn faster through another sense, not just visual. Highly recommeded! 01/03/2012
