Rated 4 out of 5 by Best cut! I have purchased Vanity Fair multipacks in three different styles--hi-cut, brief, and stretch brief. Of the three, these hi-cut panties offer the best fit and cut in my opinion. These hi-cuts have the most generous crotch coverage (0.5 cm wider than brief and stretch brief) and also have better coverage at the back leg opening. At least I don't feel the urge to pull these down in back to cover my bum entirely, as I do with the other two styles. Also, I am pleased with the height of these panties, as they seem to come up higher than other hi-cut panties. Yes, they are simple and devoid of much decor, but they offer good cotton coverage at an affordable price! 02/20/2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Well intentioned but poorly executed I'm new to VF panties and purchased these for the first time two months ago. Upon first wearing the waist of one pair separated from the fabric, indicating to me questionable quality control from the manufacturer. A wearing or two later, two others came apart in the same place. Coincidence? Now the first and second pair to develop these flaws are beyond the point of wearability -- I'm afraid they'll literally fall apart while being worn! I plan to contact VF to register my concern. I'm disappointed first and foremost, and annoyed that I spent more on these than I normally would for something similar by another manufacturer with which I've never had such an issue. 09/13/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Vanity Fair True Comfort 5-pk. Hi-Cut Panties What happened to Vanity Fair's cotton panties?? They used to have a nice fabric, beautiful colors and FIT. These are, as my mother would say, "so thin you can pitch a cat through them"*. The fabric is tissue thin, not the nice quality fabric of days gone by. They DO NOT cover your backside like their previous cotton panties. They ride up and the waistband rolls down. By the end of the day, they feel like they've grown 2 sizes, still without covering your backside. I am not happy with the "new" Vanity Fair quality. *No cats were harmed in the writing of this review. 01/25/2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Just So-so Although I really like the Vanity fair brand, and very much appreciate sensual, comfortable, and fun underwear in nice cuts and colors, I find the VF True Comfort 5-pack really uninspiring. They aren't uncomfortable, just "run of the mill". They function ok and aren't expensive, but when I wear these, I feel a loss of opportunity to feel really nice. These end up in the back bottom of my underwear drawer. I recommend a higher end cut from Vanity Fair because they have some nice cuts to choose from. 12/29/2011
