Rated 2 out of 5 by Worked ok for a few months....then barely dripped The price was right on this product and the reviews pretty good, so I took a chance. I had to play around with the grind, beans, tamping etc. until I got it working pretty well....then a few months after buying it, the coffee would only drip out very slowly. I clean the machine regularly, and even gave it a super thorough cleaning, but it still is not working. No crema, tastes like regular drip coffee. I am going to return this product. 07/18/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by good for the price It is not a professional expresso coffee machine but it does acceptable expresso coffee taking into account how unexpensive it is. It's cute and easy to clean, good water tank size. It'sfinish does not look too cheap or filmsy. It is just right for the money it takes. 06/05/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent 15 Bar Machine This is a tried and true model-- there are thousands of positive reviews on the net. You'll be hard pressed to find a machine remotely near the performance and quality of this machine, even if you spend twice the amount. The pump is a true, Italian made 15 bar. You can pull a very good espresso with just a bit of practice. Built in tamper (tip: don't overtamp--- most beginners do). Great frothy foam. The unit is a bit low, so you'll want to get a short, wide steaming cup, or elevate the unit (see other internet reviews). Remember to clean as directed. This machine rocks for the price!!! 12/01/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost a wonderful machine Although it took a while, I finally figured out how to make espresso that tastes good. So, for the price it is almost a very good machine. BUT (there is always a "but") the espresso is not hot enough. Luke warm at best. If I have time I put it in the microwave to make it hot, but that does something to the taste. No, I am not nuking it too long. 33 seconds makes it hot, but does not boil it. I have no idea why the taste changes. So warm, but good tasting espresso, or microwaved but slightly bitter espresso. I wish I did not have to choose. I have had it for 4 months and I am still ambivalent about keeping it. Do I spend more only to find out that low/med priced home machines never make hot espresso? 04/25/2015
