I ordered this jacket in a size small, as I am a slim person. Unfortunately it was way too big around the waist. It could have been a maternity jacket on me.
In addition, the sleeves were too short. I am somewhat tall, but I always buy clothes in small or extra small, and I usually never have a problem with sleeve length, so I was surprised that for an outer jacket, this one was too short in the sleeves.
Aside from the poor fit, the leather was very nice quality, as other reviewers have mentioned, and the lining definitely would make it a warm coat.

I love the coat. Perfect weight and very stylish. I read the previous reviews saying the coat ran small and, based on them, I ordered a large, which is what I wear, and a medium just in case. The large fits okay, but does not allow for anything bulky under it. Now they are sold out of the X-large which I really need. I may keep the large anyway. Suggest you order your size and one larger to be sure you get what you want.

The jacket is classic - Hits at the top of the hips. It is true to size. I agree with the other reviews about the buttons; after initially unbuttoning them, they pulled and were left dangling. This was an easy fix, I re-sewed all of them. That's why I gave it four stars. If the buttons were on correctly, I would have rated it a five. On-line ordering was easy and convenient.

I bought this jacket because of one of the "Answers" was as follows "The coat is warm, it is lined and you can take out the lining. Living in the South like I do, it's a good thing I can take the quilted insert out. It's very stylish and comfortable."
I originally wrote a very thoughtful post that explained that although a good seamstress could take out the lining, you can not take it out and then put it back. I wanted a leather jacket I could wear in Phoenix most of the "cold" season, and was excited to have a lining I could put back in if I travel to colder parts.
Unfortunately I didn't realize it was against Kohl's rules to post the price I paid for the item, so they rejected my review (rather than just deleting the last line, and in their rejection notice couldn't be bothered to send me back my original review for editing. I gave the jacket the same review as I did originally, but I am downgrading my review of Kohls.
