I just bought this from Macy's and it was worth the deal snatcher $29. My first use I forgot to use my coconut oil spray so that the waffles would unstick from the plates. The next times I went to use it with the spray, the waffles came out fluffy, crispy on edges, and I used my own waffle mixes. 1c of waffle mix, 1/2c 2% reduced fat milk (instead of water), 1/2 tsp of maple extract, and a spoonful of Nutella. I fip after 10 min. on max heat and leave for another 10 minutes for more crispy waffles. Perfect every time. Easy clean up. You want something fancy then buy something more than $50. Other than that, I enjoy using this rotating waffle maker.

The waffles don't get quite crisp enough even at darkest setting, so I have to let it cook at least a full minute longer. But it does a good job for the price. If I made a lot of waffles at a time, or made waffles every day, I'd want something of better quality. But for my occasional use when the grandkids visit, it's adequate.

We had the competitions waffle maker, it worked great but we could not tell when waffle was ready. This Bella model has a "ready" light on both sides.

My sons 9 & 5 years old love when we travel. They like hotels for 3 reasons, no clean-up, the pool, and waffle makers! So I purchased this inexpensive model to allow them to have the experience at home and see how much they end up using it and whether we should eventually get into a fancier one. This product serves that purpose very well. It's not extremely sturdy and you have to 'eye' the cook time, but we've used it at least every other weekend and the only issue I just noticed last night was the surface on one of the plates was scratched- not a product issue- a user issue
If it's not going to be abused- this will do just fine.
