Rated 5 out of 5 by Fruit & Veggie strainer parts I've had a kitchen Aid stand mixer for years with the grinder. We make our own pork sausage with it. Love it!! Will this fruit and vegetable strainer work with the grinder that I already have? 03/24/2016
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love this product I would buy a Kitchen Aid for this attachment alone! This makes no work out of making anything pureed - baby food, sauce, applesauce, salsa. The tray is too small and for the cost they should include a bigger one. Be careful and know that you have to have the meat grinder attachment to use this part. It is the piece that actually attaches to the mixer. I wish the waste dispenser has a longer chute because it sometimes falls into my puree bowl. The strainer cone is difficult to clean without a bottle brush but all in all everything goes together easily and make very light work of making sauce. 09/03/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love this attachment! I don't know how I did without this attachment as long as I did. I used to use a juicer to make tomato juice and I would have to put the pulp it ejected through a food mill after that. Once through is all you need with this attachment. All you have left is the skin and seeds that it spits out! It's also great to process apples for applesauce! You just quarter them, put them in a pot with a little water, cook them till they're soft, then put them through the strainer! 10/17/2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Misleading ad Received product today but in no way resembles photo on web site. Further obserbation revealed that food grinder was a part of the photo and was required. Agreed, reading all the fine print would have revealed this information; however, viewing a photo of a product then reading how excellent it is for making apple sauce, etc. seemed to indicate the entire photo would be sent. Severval reviews emphasized the grinder is necessary. Wonder it they to were misled. 09/25/2014
