Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality This is my second wire whip attachment for my kitchen aid mixer. I use the wire attachment only for whipping egg whites and for making frosting. The first attachment that came with the mixer lasted a number of years before one of the wires broke away from where it attaches at the top. So I replaced it with this one from Kohl's. The new one has hardly been used and one of the wires has once again broke away from where it attaches. The quality of the mixer is top notch but I can't say the same about this wire whip attachment. 05/27/2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Black Residue I am in agreement with other reviews regarding the black substance that comes off. I love the function of the whisk but the black residue is annoying. I've had my mixer for less than 6 months and want to purchase an additional whisk to expedite my process but I don't want to deal with the black residue. Is there a solution? 06/14/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Very disappointed Got the stand mixer for my wedding 6 months ago, Made too much noice when I used the wire whip, within a few uses the wire came out and it was a hustle to put it back just for it to come right out as soon as I used it again. Purchased a replacement after a few months since I Didn't get a gift receipt and didn't know where it was purchased. Once again the wire is out and I can't use my great mixer again! What happened to the old whips they used to make my grandma's lasted her a lifetime. Very disappointed because I love my mixer. 04/25/2016
Rated 2 out of 5 by Needed a replacement but not sure I love kitchen aid products and was looking to buy a replacement whisk when I read the reviews and it seems they all have the same issue I had with the plating rubbing off and it turning my hands black. 05/26/2016
