Rated 3 out of 5 by Instructions Poorly Written I like the fire pit--it is stylish with it's stainless steel top and just large enough. That being said, do not purchase this unless you are mechanically inclined and can figure things out for yourself well. The grill is made in China and the instructions may as well be written in another lanquage. First, it took me 20 minutes to get the thing out of the box--forget returning it in its box! The instructions are very vague and missing key points. I put the fire screen together four times before I got it right because of this, and I am usually pretty good at these things. On the pro side, it comes with a very nice custom cover. Overall, not worth the hassle. 05/18/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value, sturdy & efficient. Good price, looks good on patio, love the stainless steel. Good height so small dogs can't get too close. 07/25/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good deal. Well constructed. Easy to assemble. Wish it was bigger. Have not had a fire yet, burning ban in effect until may 15th. 05/05/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by I bought this fire-pit last month (June 2014) and I couldn't be any happier. Honestly. While I agree with the woman/man who said the English directions were hard to follow, it wasn't rocket science. It took me about an hour to put it together all by myself (no help from my man!) So let me tell you about why you should get this fire-pit: #1. It burns wood way better and longer than the traditional bowl because it's tall and has screens that let air flow thru the wood. #2. Not to mention, the screens actually keep the ashes inside. And the filter on top takes care of the top fly-aways. #3. It came with a cover--that's right--a cover to protect it from rain. #4. It looks so much better than the rest of the fire-pits out there. #5. It's simple to clean. You pop off the dome top, pull out the grate and then the bowl can be lifted out by it's two little handles right there for the pulling. Seriously. If you're second guessing this thing, don't. You will NOT be let down. ps, I wanted to upload a personal photo of the firepit but I've tried to post this review 3 times now, unsuccessfully so am trying without the picture. If I can post it after as a comment, I will certainly do that. 07/14/2014
