Rated 3 out of 5 by NOT Blackout We bought these for a college dorm room - hoping to block out more light than the pitiful blinds do. These curtains say they block out 99% of light - NO WAY. Maybe 70%. But I guess we're keeping them b/c color works (the turquoise was nice color to match). Daughter is thinking of adding something else to window to block light if this doesn't turn out to be enough (window faces east so they get morning sun). Shouldn't have to, though. Didn't have any smell at all with these as others commented. Wrinkles mostly out with ironing over a cloth. Not surprised at general material as cheaper Eclipses are like this. But very disappointed in calling them Blackout and claiming 99%. Merely Room Darkening. 08/01/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent value for a basic curtain This is a pretty basic rod curtain. No specific styling to speak of. Slips on the rod easily, hangs nicely. Not too wrinkled out of the bag, no smell, even hem. the color is more gold than cafe, which worked for me but might not for others. Not too dark for a blackout. No more so than any other lined curtain. Can't speak to the insulating qualities yet. I needed many pairs so this was a price driven purchase as opposed to anything else. Worked fine for my needs. 05/06/2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by great curtains for price I got these curtains for a great price! The color matches my decor perfectly. They are not the thickest curtains (hence the "good" quality rating) but they do a decent job at blocking the sun. I have new energy star windows that do not let cold air in so I cannot say much about the ability to block cold air. Overall, these curtains were a great deal for the price I paid! 02/24/2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Scratchy, stiff fabric in a great color I bought these teal blackout curtains because I had some beige ones I didn't like. Beige is so BORING, and teal is awesome! Except these curtains are STIFF AS HECK. They don't hang nicely; they aren't soft. I guess you get what you pay for. 05/22/2014
