These are great shoes but very pricey for what you get...they are also a bit tight on the foot for a average shoe size, it should say these are either narrow or wide...I got the 7.5 average size and they squeeze my feet like vices! Very tight! The wide is too loose, where is the happy medium?
Over all I like the way these shoes are made and they last a long time, I'm still wearing a pair I bought 3 years ago, but wanted some that werent starting to look worn... maybe I need a shoe stretcher for them, but I would have to say they are very narrow!

I've had two other pair of Eastland shoes in a size 9 and they fit perfectly. This pair was too small. Not standard size.

I have "Fred Flinstone" feet: short, thick, flat and wide. [7.5 W] It is always a chore to find shoes that fit me well, are comfortable, and hold up after several hours of wear. I can't say enough good things about the Eastland shoe. This slip-on works well with jeans and khakis. The tread works great in icy weather. With proper leather care, these shoes can last a very long time. I consider anything over a year a long life for a shoe. My only caution is that I think the brown looks much nicer than the black version.

I have been wearing these shoes for years now. They feel good from the minute I put them on. Kohls has the best price and if you use a coupon, even better! The only thing bad thing I can say about these shoes is that with my last two pairs, the soles became cracked on both shoes at mid foot where they bend when walking, all the way across. The soles are made of a harder plastic-type than most and may be what causes them to crack after so long. Otherwise, they would last so much longer for me. Surprising for a more expensive pair of shoes and the Eastland brand. Also, I tend to buy wide width, but with these shoes the regular width are fine. They are snug at first, but stretch nicely.
