Love these shoes. They were exactly what I was looking for. They are a littley heavy and clunky (sp?), but that's what they look like so no secret there. They fit well and I get a lot of compliments on them. They could be a little more comfortable, maybe a foam/gel liner for the foot bed, but they do not hurt my feet.

I could not put these shoes on without a huge struggle. I was afraid I would break the bones in my foot or my fingers in the attempt. I finally got them on and walked around the living room. They fit OK but felt snug. Then I tried to get them off and that too was a comical struggle. They were horribly unyielding and they were my true and accurate size. I have worn Eastland shoes before and love my old pair. This is a slightly different style and I will never buy again unless they have the elastic on both sides with a comfortable "give". Could not believe I had such a difficult time. They went back to the store the next day. It is hard to find Wide shoes. I wish the stores would carry these in Wide but either they don't or they sell out quickly. Trying them on first would've told me to stay away.

I am a teacher and on my feet all day. Recently, I've needed to wear orthodics and was stuck wearing tennis shoes with my dressy work clothes, which I despised. I ordered these shoes based on the namebrand and the fact that the insoles can be taken out. I tried the fit with my orthodics and my tennis issue is no more. These shoes are a little bulky, though, but for me, that's what I needed. I wish it also came in black, as I would order another pair.

I got my shoes and I love everything about them. I usually wear a size 6 1/2, so I opted for the 7. It is a little on the big side, but very comfortable! I really like these, my only complaint is the leather on the back of the heel is a bit flimsy for a slip on shoe. If you "slip" it on you will be walking on the back of the heel, you have to use a shoe horn or your fingers because the leather is so soft it doesn't "stand up" when you just try to "slip" the shoe on.
