My daughter received the cupcake holders for a Wedding gift, she loves making cupcakes for all different occasions. I liked the idea of the holder so she purchased one for me for Mother's Day. I was very pleased until I used it for the 1st time and was very dissappointed. I made cupcakes with such cute decorations for my Husband's birthday to take along on an overnighter with family, when we got to our destination all the cupcakes were upside down and the frosting all over. Very dissapointed. The idea of the holder is a good one, but needs some changes, for instance the individual holders need to be to be deeper. Disappointed in the product.

I had bought this all excited! The first day I carried it, it slightly dropped on the floor me catching it on the way down. I "bumped" my file cabinet and cracked it! Then I get one for a friend that seen mine. I explained she'd have to be careful as it's fragile for plastic. Well after I had checked out and out it in my car for my 20 mn. drive home ( it's been VERY cold here) it's severely cracked like I dropped it and I DID NOT DROP IT. Anyway it should be sturdier than it is. I read the reviews and glad everyone else has had better luck with this than I have. Very poor quality in my opinion and I'm an advid baker.

The online description looked good but the product looked even better when it arrived. It looked well designed to be usable for many different uses with different tiers, inserts, and connectivity. However the first time I used it the little plastic piece on one side snapped off. This is a necessary piece for connectivity to either the second tier or the lid. Having been in an industry where plastic products are made I would suspect either a bad manufacturing process (recycled plastic is less durable) or a bad design on a critical connector. In any event it looked nice, could be very useful if it doesn't fall apart some more. I get nervous now carrying any weight in it for fear it will just bread while carrying.
