Rated 3 out of 5Â by Chantal Good Quality, NOT a Crew Sock!
My fiance has bought Gold Toe socks for years, and I spent a long time trying to buy the same ones that he already has (a dress crew sock, used for everyday wear). These came and I can tell that they are way too long to fit him comfortably (in the foot and up the leg, almost up to the knees). He is shoe size 10.5, a bit shorter than average, but it seems these would go halfway up the calf of even a tall man. So I don't think they should be called crew socks.

I had Gold Toe socks that wore out and could not find them locally. These seemed to be the same sock, so I ordered them. The major difference that I can see is that these "crew" socks are a full 4" higher than the ones I had. That to me is not a crew sock. Yet it seems to be the shortest one offered. I can live with them as they are the same light weight and comfortable. Yet, as I don't wear them with a suit, the shorter length would have been preferable.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by Skippy I bought 3 pair in Black, Grey and Blue.
I am extremely disappointed in two of the blue pairs. There are strings of elastic coming out of the top portion of the socks and I donât wear. I would like to return them as soon as possible.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Kake My husband wears dress socks daily so I always buy Gold Toe so they last awhile. I'm not sure of the materials, but these do tend to catch lint more than some of his others. I do like the nice saturated color of the black and brown, though. They don't seem to fade as quickly.
