I wanted a small vacuum for my bedrooms. It's good for that. The suction is very good. So good it pulls the floor piece off often which is a bit annoying. I know others have complained about that and am surprised Eureka hasn't fixed that yet. It's fine for a small apartment. I wouldn't recommend it for full house or large apartment use. I have area rugs in the bedrooms and the vacuum does a good cleaning job.

I bought this vacuum to combat my shedding rat terrier and cocker spaniel and was sorely disappointed. Even with the extra automated attachment (which, by the way there is no place to store on the vacuum when not in use) I had difficulty removing hair from my furniture and carpets. The cord was too short and not retracteable. It winds underneath the machine. The machine and it's parts are made of cheap plastic which is why it's so lightweight. The vacuum only works on hard surfaces and not on regular carpet. For a vacuum advertising itself as a pet vacuum it is a sore disappointment. A regular vacuum works better. I took it back the day after I bought it!

FINALLY, a vacuum that will reach under my (low) antique bed to pick up fur from my 2 Maine Coon cats (on plush carpet)! I used the "Pet Power Paw" for this job & it worked great. It IS awkward, since the solid part (the "pole" attached to the hose) is very long, but once you get situated it's fantastic. I look forward to using it on my carpeted stairs tomorrow! It's lightweight to carry but, as I said, a little unwieldy until you get used to it. Excellent assembly instructions & includes HEPA filter & extra bag.

This vacuum is so strong it becomes difficult to move over wood floors unless you lessen the air inflow a little. Amazing power for such a small unit. It is very light and easy to move around. It does appear to be a cheap looking vacuum...everything is plastic including the hose. The big problem is keeping the floor attachment on...it falls off very easily and is a nuisance. I've only tried it on wood floors so far and if the floor attachment keeps falling off on my carpet, I may return it because of this. It should be an easy fix by the company by incorporating some type of locking system.
