I was so excited to finally get new dishes in the color I was looking for, but the Fontina dishes from Food Network chip and crack so easily. I have only had them a few months. The dishes are just not made well. The color is painted on instead of fired on which would help prevent the cracking. Plus I think the material they are made out of is poor quality. They are not durable like I hoped they'd be. Sigh! Gotta start a new search for better dishes.

Out of the first 12 plates I ordered, 7 arrived chipped or broken. I thought that was because they had been packaged poorly(which they had). However, when I reordered replacements they came packaged more securely and we still had breakage. I'm afraid that they won't last long with normal wear and tear.

I was pleased with the price point and look of these dishes but they have chipped so easily. I have only used them for a total of a few weeks and I already have a chip. I would buy a replacement but I am afraid that they will not hold up to our use. I am very disappointed

I have never written a review, but very disappointed in the Food Network Fontina plates. They scratch very easily. I have had them for a couple of weeks and I am returning them. For the money, I thought they would be better. Very disappointed.
