Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless I thought this was a yogurt MAKER, not an incubator!! It doesn't control temperature, timing, or anything! It is just a plastic shell with glass jars to hold your yogurt. YOU must boil the milk, hope to get to appropriate temp, then add yogurt starter, and place in the jars. There is NO thermometer or timer, you just dial the ring on the outside to the time you need to check the contents and then watch the clock!!! As I said in my summary--USELESS!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The one you should have. The machine is very easy to use . The yogurt come out very thick and creamy which almost like Greek yogurt. My friend didn't think I made it! The con is the number fooled me when I brought it. There is no any uses about it. IT iS NOT TIMER! I can live without it. If you want to have timer one, you can buy another model from this company which would cost another $15.00 more . Another issues is sometimes the machine base overheated and got hot instead warm if I want to use over 10 hours. I am worrying if I can use longer. Overall I am happy about this yogurt machine .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job An easy way to make home-made yogurt. It is very simple. You just follow the instructions and let it sit for 9-10 hours until it's done. The numbers on the front are kind of silly....I don't know why you need them, since it doesn't keep the time or anything, but I guess it works for some people to help them remember in how many hours to check on it. I definitely would recommend using a clock instead of that, since you still have to keep track of how long it's been/when to check it, etc. The trouble I had always had before was how to keep the yogurt at the right temperature and this does the job. I recommend using whole powdered milk for a creamier, delicious tasting yogurt and also to add a fresh fruit puree just before eating instead of to the whole batch for a better fresh fruit flavor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth getting with the glass jars! This yogurt maker is really as easy to use as it says. The glass jars make it really easy to have servings to pack for work. I'm partial to the Greek style yogurt so I usually drain mine first, but even the easy to find Dannon makes a great mild yogurt. Really a savings on money! Sometimes I just make it using a bowl instead of the individual glass jars - but the glass jars do go into the dishwasher which is a big bonus to me. Very happy I made this purchase.
