The Keurig Coffee People Donut Shop Coffee is one great cup of coffee. It is smooth tasting without any bitterness. I add creamer, but even my finicky husband who drinks his coffee black really enjoys this coffee. He agrees that there is no bitterness, and that it tastes like actual "coffee". Not overly strong like some brands can be. Even with creamer, the medium roast is perfect for still maintaining a "coffee" taste, it doesn't get "diluted". You can still taste "coffee". Simply perfect. You won't be sorry that you "wasted" your money if you buy this brand of coffee. Enjoy!

We have been using the Keurig system since it started. It is a great way to make a quick cup of coffee with the lengthy preparation. After trying many different blends my wife and I have decided The Original Donut-Shop is our favorite.

Received my Keurig as a Christmas gift. Had no idea what coffee I would like since I'm just an average morning coffee drinker. Was afraid everything would be too strong but amazingly this is a perfect blend. Can't believe a Medium Roast "Extra Bold" would be so smooth and not bitter. If you don't like strong coffee and are afraid this will be too much for you give this a try like I did. I use a 14 oz. mug and make sure I fill it almost to the top with water then add a little cream and sugar. Love it. So happy there really is a coffee out there for me...just the average morning drinker.

This is one of my favorite coffees. It's well balanced, not bitter or sweet. My other top pick is Timothy's Rainforest Espresso. Tully's Italian Roast and Green Mountain Sumatra are close behind. The first 2 tend to be slightly sweet, while the second 2 tend to be slightly green or bitter. but when I use French Vanilla creamer, which I usually do, they are all good. Many past reviewers equate "Extra Bold" with "Dark Roast". "Extra Bold" means that there are more coffee grounds in the K-cup to make it stronger. This is a "Medium Roast" coffee. If you prefer "Dark Roast", try the other 3 that I mentioned.
