Rated 2 out of 5Â by MJ5150 tight fitting and not iron free
As a business traveler on a budget these days, the No-Iron feature and price made these pants attractive to me. I normally purchase more expensive brands from higher end retailers, but the economy has forced me to make other choices.
The pants look fine once you get them on and ironed, but this is not as simple as pulling them from the dryer, shaking them out, and putting them on. I have washed them multiple times now, and they always need to be ironed. It isn't just me being picky either. They are usually wrinkled and crumpled looking right out of the dryer like they have been on the floor. When I unpack them from my suitcase, it is the same, I have to iron them before I can wear them. The other hangup for me is the crease in the pant leg goes away after a few washings, which is very disappointing.
Fit and feel is alright. They do shrink up quite a bit during washing, so they are tight when you first put them on from the dryer, but will eventually stretch out again. The rise is short, so if you are a tall guy like me, I'm 6'5", be aware of this. As for quality, this is Kohl's and the price is hard to beat. You get what you pay for here. They feel thin and cheaply made and start to look that way after a handful of washings. For me, I will save up my money better and return to purchasing the higher quality dress pants in the future.
