Rated 4 out of 5Â by jmch I love how the pants fit, launder, and wear. The only downfall is the elastic waist. The elastic is not anchored and the first time you wear them it will roll inside the waist casing. The waist of the pants, which looks great when you open them, will never lay flat again. I am a good seamstress so i take these pants and immediately run a couple rows of stretch stitch around the waist and through the elastic. By doing this, the elastic is secured and the flat waist is maintained. You can wear the pants with the rolled elastic, but it is disappointing that a Sag Harbor product has a issue like this. All of that said, i will continue to buy them and wish they offered more colors.

First, I absolutely LOVE the style of these slacks, which I wear for work every day. What I absolutely DISLIKE about these slacks is that the elastic waist rolls, while sitting and basically any time they have to be lowered and raised again. I am not sure why Sag Harbor won't spend the few extra cents for NO ROLL ELASTIC, and perhaps give customers a 100% positive experience. The last 3 pair I received were so wrinkled, however, I have had trouble even getting the wrinkles steamed out with an iron. After a few more washings and ironings, I hope to be able to resolve that problem. I'll keep buying, as needed, but won't be completely happy until the elastic waist issues are resolved.

I have these slacks in the black and absolutely love them! They are comfortable and the fabric is a nice quality medium weight. I'm 5' 3 1/2" tall and can't wear heels more than 1 1/2" high which means that most pants are way too long for me and have to be altered. I tried these slacks in both the regular plus and petite plus sizes and found the petites were a bit too short with fairly flat shoes. I got the regular plus and am able to wear them with 1 - 1 1/2" heels without having them hemmed. I kind of go back and forth between size 18W and 20W depending on brand. I find the Sag Harbor brand fits me best in an 18W.

I bought two pair of these pants in black & brown, both size 24, & they seem to run a little small. I feel that size 26 would fit perfect. I'll see if the brown still fit after they were accidentially dried in the dryer. I'm suggesting they get washed in cold & hung dry & could be put in drier once dry to remove wrinkles & hang right away.
Surprised that being plus sized pants that they were not offered in size 26 also, & are not more generously sized as a size 24 too.
The material does have some stretch in the material which helps make even snug pants still feel comfortable.
