Rated 4 out of 5 by needs better pads The steam mop works well, but the cloth pads that come with it need to be improved. I end up with lots of little bits of white threads/cloth from the pads all over the floor after I'm finished cleaning. If the pads were made of better quality cloth, perhaps they wouldn't shed all over the floor. The pads that came with the previous model of the Bissell cleaner were much better...no shedding and had friction strips in them to aid with cleaning. I won't waste money on buying more of the scented distilled water that came with the cleaner...it's distilled water at a very high price and the scent is undetectable even after using it on 1000 square feet of tile flooring in my house. 07/25/2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love it! I love my steam mop, it is easy to fill and empty the water reservoir, heats up in seconds, the 2 pads are thick, durable and machine washable. Because I use my mop all the time, the pads are never that dirty and I throw them in with my towels. Usually, floor drys in no time at all, every once in a while if I press the steam button too long I will have a little bit of excess water on the floor but it will come right up if i go over it with the steam mop without pressing the steam button. A few times I have used a couple paper towels to wipe the excess water. I have owned my steam mop for over a year. 01/13/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Leaks I would agree with the other reviews, after a few times of using the steam mop it leaks water. I have hardwood floors and I don't need/want the floors to get that wet or for the floors to take so long to dry, they would dry faster using the "old fashioned" mop & bucket method. Also, for my house, if they had made the cord about 12 inches longer I wouldn't have to unplug to complete a room (my house isn't that big). I have found it difficult to remove the screw top to the water tank, the rubber gasket sticks to both the tank and the lid. I also find it difficult to manuever the mop around toilet. 08/31/2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by It's ok I have come to realize that any instrument you use for cleaning still involves some elbow grease. Once I got the hang of it; i.e., when the steam started and pressure needed, then I thought the mop was doing what was advertised. I thought there would be some kind of indicator to tell me steam was ready to be used (and maybe there is but didn't get that impression) and I'm not fond of the leaks of water after you're done (have a towel ready) but I'm happy with the mop. You still have to get down and wipe up tight crevices by hand. Other than having a maid, this will due just fine. 04/28/2011
