Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice little coffeemaker I have had this Zutto for about 6 months. It took a little time to get used to filling water into the plastic container and setting it into the heating tank as opposed to pouring the water into the tank. This makes it easier, less chance of spilling water. Also you put the filter into the basket which hangs into the carafe. But now it's just habit and I love the taste of my morning coffee. I don't use as much coffee grinds as I used in another brand coffee maker. If I fill up the container to just below the top I get a big cups of coffee. Summary: It is nice looking, makes coffee faster than most others, uses less grinds, easy to clean and the coffee taste great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OUT OF THE ORDINARY I've had this coffee maker for 4 years now, It's the perfect size for one or 2 people. It's easy to use, doesn't take up a lot of space, and it makes great coffee. I just don't understand why it's so expensive. Also..it's really hard to find replacement carafe's. I had to search on the internet for a couple of days. The company that makes this coffee maker does not have the carafe..which is really stupid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacing Krup's Brewmaster Jr. My Krups carafe cracked after twenty + years of use and great coffee. I brew super strong and the Zutto seems up to the task. It has a very attractive matte silver and dark grey finish and the typically excellent Zojurshi quality. The filter basket is smaller, so that might cause problems in brewing the 5-cup max (24oz), but for my 3-cup (just one large cup of coffee ~15oz) it works great. It also has a removable water tank with a debris filter plus an additional drip charcoal filter. As the warning says, stay away from the steam vents on top. p.s. My order arrived in one day!. Shockingly better then my first Kohls order which took 19 days (Christmas).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim & sleek enough to WANT leave out on counter! This coffee maker is great! First and foremost it looks sleek enough to leave sitting out on my counter. A lot of other coffee makers are bulky and ugly. But it has nice clean lines and is very slim. I have a small kitchen and the small footprint of the coffee makers is nice because it doesn't take up valuable counter space. Overall it works just like any other coffee maker, is easy to use and I've had no problems with it. The fact that all the parts that "touch" the coffee, filter basket and pot, are not attached to the base is great because it makes it super easy to clean and even run through the dishwasher. I can't emphasize enough how nice of a design it is to have the filter inside the pot, it eliminates extra plastic parts and bulk on the machine. I would say that the price of this coffee maker is a little bit higher than average but it is DEFINITELY WORTH IT! I will happily pay a little more for an appliance to look great and have well designed pieces.
