Rated 4 out of 5 by Good but not Great! The reviews were on track about the features that aren't that great:(1) the filter needs to be pushed down into basket and make sure the water arm is directly over the grounds(it will shut & make coffee & then make a mess!!)(2) the top is very hard to open! the fix, don't screw on tight and then it is easy to open.(3)the water ball is slow to float up, we just use a pitcher we've marked to know how many cups we want. When you learn these things it's a great coffee maker that keeps coffee hot for a long time w/o the burnt taste like burner plate models do (even when you forget to put the little cap on pot!) 01/06/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Surprising Quality We were suckered once too often with a glass-carafe coffeemaker where the replacement carafes are unavailable, so we chose this coffeemaker. It brews quickly, the steel carafe is durable and keeps the coffee hot, but I have one piece of advice: You might have to use less coffee grounds, because it is so efficient that you can brew strong coffee with less! The one criticism that I'd make is that the "float ball" that shows the amount of water you've added takes its sweet time to start floating - if you're pouring in the water quickly, you'll mistakenly add more than you'd intended before the ball moves up. 05/18/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product! Only issue is it is a little tall! For years we have only purchased Bunn coffee makers. We wanted to try another brand and the Zojirushi Bread maker that we have been using for years has been wonderful so we thought we would try their coffee maker. Not at all disappointed! The only issue is that it is a little tall for our cabinets. For some reason we have not had all the problems that others have. If the screw top on the carafe is too tight, don't over tighten it. If the filters seem too tall, push them down in the filter cone a little deeper. If your coffee is bitter, use less coffee. It's very easy to adjust from your past coffee maker. 11/13/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great coffee every time in no time at all! I researched coffee pots for such a long time that I sacrificed having no coffee at all for a week until I found the perfect one. I have no idea how to pronounce it but it deserves high rating. I simply cannot find a sigle thing wrong with it. My husband only drinks 2 cups of decaf early he uses the #2 natural cone filters. However later I brew a full pot and use a #4 natural cone filter. Just fold the side and bottom of the #4 and it holds all grounds. No leaks, drips or messes with this one. It hold the coffee at a gerat temp. and one day at 3:00 p.m. I went to clean the pot and there was still steam coming off of the coffee as I poured it out. Not bad for a pot made at 6:00 a.m. 10/11/2011
