Works good however it has overflowed a couple of times when I tried to take a cup of coffee while it was still brewing.. I now use the auto program so the coffee is made before I awake.. Not sure how it will hold up, only had it for a couple of weeks now but make a lot of coffee daily.. The Carafe keeps the coffee warm for 3 hours or so but after that need to use the microwave..

I love this coffee pot because it is unlike any other coffeepot I've ever had.....It is soooooo easy to operate and because the carafe is thermal it will keep the coffee HOT for a very long time. The instructions tell you to run the first cycle with water, which i did....at about 9 p.m. When the cycle finished i capped it and let it stay till 9 a.m. When I opened it in the morning i put my finger in and expected it to be cold but it was still steaming HOT! It makes good coffee and when its finished brewing you can cap it set it on the counter top and it does not have to sit cooking in a hot plate.

For years we have only purchased Bunn coffee makers. We wanted to try another brand and the Zojirushi Bread maker that we have been using for years has been wonderful so we thought we would try their coffee maker. Not at all disappointed! The only issue is that it is a little tall for our cabinets. For some reason we have not had all the problems that others have. If the screw top on the carafe is too tight, don't over tighten it. If the filters seem too tall, push them down in the filter cone a little deeper. If your coffee is bitter, use less coffee. It's very easy to adjust from your past coffee maker.

We were suckered once too often with a glass-carafe coffeemaker where the replacement carafes are unavailable, so we chose this coffeemaker. It brews quickly, the steel carafe is durable and keeps the coffee hot, but I have one piece of advice: You might have to use less coffee grounds, because it is so efficient that you can brew strong coffee with less! The one criticism that I'd make is that the "float ball" that shows the amount of water you've added takes its sweet time to start floating - if you're pouring in the water quickly, you'll mistakenly add more than you'd intended before the ball moves up.
