Rated 5 out of 5 by from EVERYTHING GREAT about these pants I purchased a pair of these pants (beige) for my husband to wear to work on Casual Day--perfect. He bought them a good 10 months ago and has washed them several times. They are professional-looking, but casual. The color hasn't faded and the material has kept its "shape" after every wash. Also, no ironing necessary. I recently bought four more pair (2 beige, 1 gray and 1 jean material) for my son and husband. These four pair fit both of them perfectly (33/32). I would highly recommend these pants. All four pair fit the same and the length is exactly what we ordered on all four pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Finally... a pair of Levi's jeans that are cut (close to) straight on the grain of the fabric. It has been many years since we've purchased a pair that was cut correctly. Considering recent history, this is probably just a fluke. My husband, who wears them, doesn't care but it does affect how they hang when removed from the dryer. He had one pair that ripped prematurely, up the side of the leg, near the zipper for no apparent reason. There must have been a flaw in the fabric. Considering the price they should have lasted longer. I plan to turn that pair into quilt pieces.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great style and fit, quality is going down. I have worn Levi's 505's (stonewash) for the better part of my adult life. I have always loved their style and fit, and the size selections available. And up until recently, they were made to last a very long time. But for the past year, it seems their quality has taken a nosedive - the material has lost its durability and it tears quite easily. This usually first happens at the beltloops where they are stitched to the jeans (usually the lower point), which then tear right through the fabric leaving a hole. There you have it. I may have to search for an alternative after all these years.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smaller waist than a few years ago Purchased these and 505 Relaxed for my son. Bought the same size as what we purchased a few years ago, however the waist size for both of these new jeans was smaller than those older ones so I had to return these. (Yes, I verified this by comparing with the old jeans. It wasn't that his waist size had expanded.)
