a pair of Levi's jeans that are cut (close to) straight on the grain of the fabric. It has been many years since we've purchased a pair that was cut correctly. Considering recent history, this is probably just a fluke. My husband, who wears them, doesn't care but it does affect how they hang when removed from the dryer.
He had one pair that ripped prematurely, up the side of the leg, near the zipper for no apparent reason. There must have been a flaw in the fabric. Considering the price they should have lasted longer. I plan to turn that pair into quilt pieces.

Purchased these for my hubby to use as "work pants". He is a landscaper and is constantly working on his hands and knees. Other jeans we had purchased in the past would rip or tear within a couple of months. We bought one pair several months ago to "test" the durability. Just purchased 4 more pairs since these jeans have been holding up to the rigors his job.

by Jknight304 Levis are still the best
I have been wearing Levis for over 40 years. I have seen the quality get worse each year. I still love the old Levis made in the USA and Canada and still have a few pair. The ones made overseas are OK but I have to try them on before buying due to the difference in size between pairs. I wear the 505 33 x 32.
