Rated 3 out of 5 by Didnt dig it I was debating between an airless fryer and a pressure cooker. Chose this. Okay, I realize there is a learning curve for all new gadgets but bottom line I just didnt dig this enough to give it the extra effort. I am not ultra talented in the kitchen so I was looking for something easy. Ummm.... I read all the reviews and people had great results. I made 6 attempts and each was a complete fail. Pasty mac and cheese, dry turkey breast... you get the gist. I just didnt get it. Most recipes (like the mac and cheese) have you start the recipe for 3 minutes. Release pressure, add more ingredients and restart. So in the case of the mac and cheese - you are to restart for an additional 4 minutes. The machine needs to reach a certain pressure before it starts to count back the 4 minutes. But, before it even reaches that optimal pressure- or even counting down the 4 minutes - you can already smell it burning! Starting/stopping the machine releases pressure/moisture. Even tho recipe calls for additional liquid I didnt think it was ever enough and maybe thats why everything was so dry. But my personal fave (!) were my apples. Usually I put them in the oven with cinnamon and vanilla extract and they come out great. I figured I would try the pressure cooker. When I let the steam out, it sprayed what looked like apple juice all over my chandelier, island, floor, over the pressure cooker itself, everywhere!! Bc it's hot steam, there was nothing I could do but stand there watching my kitchen being destroyed! Okay, enough said - I brought this home wrecker back and purchased the airless fryer. Right out of the box it was a win. 02/17/2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Useful Kitchen Appliance I've used this many times over since purchasing. I'm new to the slow cooker realm so I'm still trying to find the balance between under and overcooking and so far this has not missed a mark cooking everything to perfection. LOVE the delayed start because I work long hours so it fits into my schedule. Also I have used this as a pressure cooker and that has worked spectacularly. One thing to note...apparently if you have a problem with it the company that makes it can be a pain to work with so it's worth the extra pennies to go with Kohl's. They have an awesome return policy! 12/11/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by the best Love the pressure cooker..... I have always used a pressure cooker but this one takes it to another whole level. My usual pressure cooker hisses and is really noisy. This one is the opposite. The browning feature is great to start out your meal, then you set the timer and walk away. It gets up to pressure and is silent, while your food is cooked to perfection. The slow cooker is like most slow cookers, but once again the timer feature takes it up a notch. Clean up is a breeze with the non stick surface. Liked it so much bought another for my daughter. 01/21/2012
