Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not spring loaded Nice style and good quality. However, the rod is NOT spring loaded (as stated in a reply to a product question). In other words, there is NO tension provided by springs because there are NO springs. You are required to add the tension by slightly extending the extension arm as you lock it in place. Without the spring, it is difficult to get a solid hold between two walls, limiting the weight the rod can bear to much less than it's quality suggests. Keeping it but wouldn't recommend or buy it again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not extend!! Looks like it would be nice from a distance. Save your money! It is junk! I ordered this online to save a trip to the store! It is obviously broke. Not worth making a trip to take it back! I just will not get these type of items from Kohls anymore! A simple thing turns into a hassle! Not sure if it is just this brand or if it is all the brands in their shower line? Just a bummer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality Good quality and very simple to use. I'm using it for a curtain rod on a large window opening. I wanted something that looked more substantial than most of the tension rods out there. The curtains I have hanging from it are fairly light weight so I'm not sure how heavy curtains would fair. The rod is staying perfectly In place. It's suiting it's purpose quite nicely and the price is a deal.
