Rated 5 out of 5 by My Blind Speical Needs Adult Brother I bought this for my 30 year old brother who is special needs and is also blind. We used to have one when we were kids, and he loved it! This one is very bright and colorful for those who can see, very sturdy and great quality. I would recommend this product. Melissa & Doug make great toys! 12/22/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This product is well made and colorful. I purchased this for my 18 month old granddaughter. She loves it. She carries it around and sides the colorful beads back and forth. She is thoroughly enjoying this colorful product and as she grows she will continue to play with this item and learn from it. 01/09/2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Well-Made Educational Toy I bought this for my five year-old nephew. After I explained how this primitive toy worked, he really liked it. The abacus is colorful and well-made. I am hoping that he uses this to learn math facts before he becomes dependent on a calculator. :) 05/06/2011
