I love the shape and style of this dish. I have had alot of chip and dip dishes over the years and this is the best one ever. dip dish is large enough for dip! and attaches to any side of bowl for space saving feature. I use the bowl alone as serving dish also. I leave dish on my counter to hold fruit when not using for party. Was a little pricey (probably paying for Food Network Name) but worth it.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Browlan Great Set - rack for dip attachment unstable
I purchased this for an annual Xmas family gathering and I love the shape and size of the large bottom bowl. Initially I thought the dip bowl appeared to be awfully small in proportion to the chip bowl. However, the dip bowl size was sufficient. And the bowls are very well made and solid. The only problem I had with this set was that the dip bowl method of attachment to the chip bowl is unstable. The dip container doesn't "sit" in the small wrought iron attachment securely. I found it to be more stable if I set the dipping bowl at the lowest part of the chip bowl, as opposed to the high part of the chip bowl (as shown in the display). If the dip bowl was empty, I believe it would fall off easily and get broken. The Food Network definitely needs to improve this method of attachment. I would recommend this product simply because it's so well made, but if purchased, be prepared to "manage" the dipping portion of this set.

This is a really great product. It adds dimention to a flat table of food, holds a lot of chips and good amount of dip. The only issue is the black metal holder is snug to the chip bowl (as it should be) and leaves scratch marks and black marks. I just put the holder in the same spot every time and no one will ever see it's scratches.

I liked the style and shape of this set, but the dip bowl does not fit the metal holder properly, so simply dipping into the dish can cause it to fall out and onto the table. as another reviewer stated, the metal holder will scratch the chip bowl as well. Good idea, but poor build quality, and not made with longevity in mind.
