Rated 5 out of 5Â by CyoTheCat I bought this set for our daughter who lives 1500 miles away. I was worried about breakage and if she would like them. She loves them and she loves the design. They arrive in perfect condition. Money well spent. Remember, these are fragile dishes, they are not like cheaper brands that are less prone to breakage but these gems are far more beautiful and worth the extra TLC they require. My husband and I have had a set of these in Painted Poppies for years. They go in the dishwasher everyday. They have held up beautifully. Still shiny and glazed and very sturdy. Money well spent.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by Kimz28 Looks beautiful but cracks easily
My husband bought this set for me two years ago as a Christmas gift. I loved the color. However after a couple of years two of the plates cracked, one plate is chipped, and a bowl is broken. I never dropped them or clanged them into anything and never used them in the oven or on a heated surface. Even though they claim these are dishwasher safe it seems the heat of my dishwasher may have cracked them because I only noticed the cracks after emptying the dishwasher. None of my other dishwasher safe plates or bowls have cracked in the dishwasher, only these. So buyer beware.

I ordered two sets, serving bowls, and the canisters online. Nothing was broken unlike many other reviews. I love the colors and the look of the dishes, but they are too big. The plates do not fit in my two year old dishwasher without falling forward onto each other. The bowls that came with the set are also very large. Unfortunately, it appears that many of the new pfaltzgraff dishes have the same style of dishes. As much as I like the colors and design of the dishes, I will be returning them. They are not practical to use and wash in the dishwasher on a daily basis.
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Swimkr5icky I love the look of these plates but the bottoms are scratching my brand new Amish table up. They heat nice and fit in the dishwasher. Bowls are really extra large so the kids fill to full and get way to much cereal....working on that!
